Eric Meissner

Immediately prior to launching ISLANTRAN in 2025, Eric built out, scaled and managed the flagship Client Recommended Investment program of ImpactAssets Inc., a purpose-built public charity focused on accelerating the flow of capital to impact investing. As Senior Director of Investment Services, he directed the review, execution and asset management of over a thousand client-originated impact investments across the world.

Prior to ImpactAssets, Eric was a Global Portfolio Risk Manager for a spin-off of the International Finance Corporation, the Grassroots Business Fund, an investment fund that focused on pairing mezzanine debt growth capital with grant-funded business technical support to early-stage portfolio companies.

Driven to make a difference in the world, Eric started his career supporting humanitarian response and disaster relief efforts around the world for global charities and the U.S. government in the Balkans of Eastern Europe, to Northern Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East, working alongside the US military and diplomats, UN agencies, foreign governments, aid workers and local communities.
